My husband and I just returned from one of the most relaxing and reviving trips we have ever had. The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes blessed us with the perfect getaway to refuel our marriage.
After 14 years of never leaving our 4 children, we decided it was time to. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our marriage. We didn't realize how much we needed that time with each other until we were there. We were able to reconnect.
The retreat was life-changing for our marriage and our family. The speaker that the Coalition had for the event was perfect! He not only provided us with the knowledge on how to have a successful marriage, but they provided us with the tools to make it happen. Through the different activities and even being together for over 20 years, we still learned so much about each other to help our marriage continue to grow and be successful.
My best takeaway from the event would be... Life is hard, and life is busy but never stop investing in your marriage. There is always room for improvement. We are so thankful we were chosen for this life-changing retreat provided by the Coalition!
